As one team, we met, exceeded or significantly moved forward the majority of our sustainability commitments set out in Mission 2025.
These achievements came from actions that many colleagues across our business contributed to – from switching to cleaner energy to improving how our packaging is collected and recycled.
We also set up water protection projects in all 19 communities where water is at higher risk, helping protect resources we share with local communities.
And through #YouthEmpowered, we supported more than 1.2 million young people with training and skills for the future.
Our efforts were recognised globally too, with Coca-Cola HBC named the world’s most sustainable beverage company in the S&P Global Yearbook for the ninth time.
Together with our teams and partners, we advanced our sustainability efforts at scale. Mission 2025 has helped clarify where our actions can have the greatest impact - and it has reinforced a simple truth: lasting change requires focus, persistence, and the humility to keep learning. Our progress is greatest when we innovate alongside our partners and build solutions for all. I’m grateful to our teams and our partners for their commitment to open up a more sustainable future.
Zoran Bogdanovic Chief Executive Officer
Mission Refresh builds on what we’ve learned so far.
It sets four flagship commitments that will guide our actions in the years ahead – and they’re all about making a positive difference where it counts most.
Alongside these flagship commitments, we’ve set out clear and measurable targets to help keep us on track.
These goals aren’t just numbers – they help protect our planet, support communities and strengthen our business.
Mission Refresh reflects our continued commitment to creating value for our communities, partners and the environment while strengthening our resilience. Sustainability continues to be part of our growth story, and we’ll keep reporting with the transparency our stakeholders expect.
Karyn Harrington Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer
Sustainability touches every part of our business, from how we use energy to how we support people and communities.
Every team and everyone plays a role, and every improvement – big and small – helps us open up a more sustainable future.
Karyn Harrington, our Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer, reflects on our Mission 2025 achievements and shares the next chapter of its sustainability journey: Mission Refresh.
Note: Mission Refresh covers the existing 29 markets of Coca-Cola HBC, unless stated otherwise.
