Plants and processes

Radzymin Plant

The Radzymin plant is the largest production facility owned by Coca‑Cola HBC Poland and Baltics. The plant is also a manufacturing centre for the Coca‑Cola Hellenic Group. The products from this part of Poland are shipped to various European countries. Apart from beverages, the Radzymin plant also produces PET bottle preforms. The preforms manufactured in that plant supply all our production facilities in Poland.

Eight production lines operating at the plant enable the manufacturing of all of our company’s sparkling drinks: Coca‑Cola, Coca‑Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Lime, Cherry Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Kinley Tonic and two aseptic lines used to manufacture preservative-free beverages fruit juices and nectars – Cappy, ice teas – Fuze and Powerade isotonic drinks.

Staniątki Plant

The Staniątki plant was launched in June 1993 and since then several modernisations and investments have been carried out. Today it covers over 180,000 square metres, including over 34,000 square metres occupied by buildings.

Six production lines at the plant enable the production of all kinds of Coca‑Cola HBC Poland sparkling drinks: two PET lines, can lines and a glass line and a BIB (Bag in Box) line.

Staniątki is the second plant (the first being Radzymin) with its own waste water treatment facility which treats 1,600 m3 of water a day. Like in all other production plants operated by our company, advanced labour efficiency procedures and systems were implemented at Staniątki to minimise the use of electric power and water.

In 2016, Coca-Cola HBC Polska’s Staniątki plant was ranked second among 56 plants from 27 countries in the “Best Plant Award” category.

Tylicz

The Tylicz plant was set up in 1992 and it produces natural mineral water Kropla Beskidu from the Kropla Beskidu intake. The water is drawn from several 137-metre deep wells, located in the area of about 35 square kilometres within a radius of about 8 kilometres around the plant. Although the production process seems to be less complicated compared to the production of carbonated beverages, bottling water characterised by the highest quality parameters requires great care and an expert approach.

Varėna

In 2016 - 2017 the Neptūnas natural mineral water production plant in Lithuania was acquired jointly by Coca-Cola HBC and The Coca-Cola Company. Operating in Varėna “Neptūnas“ is the only factory in the Baltic States belonging to the international group of “Coca-Cola” system. The factory specializes in natural mineral water production precisely. “Neptūnas“ manages four natural mineral water bores in Varėna.

In 2019 “Neptūnas” factory was granted with the highest level European water management certificate for the responsible use of water resources. This assessment shows that the factory manages the water use processes in an exceptionally sustainable and efficient manner, fully complying European and national legislation requirements. Natural mineral water plant operated by the “Coca-Cola” system is the first company in Lithuania to be certified according to the European water management standard.
