Like last year, the 15th edition of the Ranking of Responsible Companies ended with an award ceremony held virtually. Nearly 80 companies participated and twice as many expressed interest in this year's edition of the Ranking. Eventually, 70 companies made it to the main list. Once again, Coca-Cola HBC Poland took first place in the FMCG sector.
It has been a peculiar year under difficult pandemic conditions, but it is during this time that corporate responsibility has taken on a whole new dimension. For several years, Coca-Cola HBC has been among the leaders of the ranking prepared by Deloitte, Responsible Business Forum, Global Compact Network and, from this year on, Kozminski Business Hub.
It is a great honour that the actions we take have once again been appreciated in this difficult and unpredictable time of the year 2020. For us, being the leader in the consumer goods industry at the top of the Responsible Business Ranking is not only an honour, but also an obligation to make further efforts in favour of sustainable development and responsible business, as well as to be close to local communities. This year, despite many challenging moments, we continued to deliver on our commitments for our "World Without Waste" mission.
We have also been supporting healthcare professionals, senior citizens and the food service industry during this difficult pandemic period. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team of Coca‑Cola HBC Poland, as it is through their daily work that we, as a company, make a positive impact on the world around us.

This year, 50 questions in the survey were divided into three sections: "Strategic Level," "Operational Level," and "Selected Results." A maximum of 94 percent of total points could be obtained for 47 survey responses. Yet another year in a row, Coca-Cola HBC took the first place in this ranking.
As a side effect, the pandemic caused a major upheaval in many companies, which also changed the way they think about sustainable development and taking up challenges of our civilization. Since business leaders realised that a crisis was possible, it means that they could also finally start talking about the forms and necessary stages of adaptation.
Measuring carbon footprints, decarbonisation of supply chains, closing the resource cycle, D&I departments in every company, responsible innovation, multi-sector partnerships, energy efficiency, sustainable finance, new organisational CSR structures- these are just examples of brand new approaches.

Coca-Cola HBC Poland shared the podium in the "consumer goods" industry with Kompania Piwowarska and L'Oreal. BNP Paribas was the leader of the overall ranking. Coca-Cola took 6th place.
