In Lithuania the event took place in Klaipeda around 100 students from different schools have gathered for a day that had several speakers talk about their career and what has helped them to choose it followed by activities with mentors. Attendees were divided into 20 groups and each group had a mentor. This year CCHBCC Lithuania Monika Balčiūnaitė, Rita Janulevičiūtė, Marius Kvaraciejus, Rimas Židonis, Aidas Liorančas, Gabrielė Šerėnienė and Agnė Daunytė have joined the event as mentors. During different activities mentees together with mentors had to come up with an idea that would help to choose career for young people and to present it in the manner of elevator pitch to the jury. At the end of the event mentors evaluated the ideas and have chosen the winning ones.
“I was highly impressed by creativity and courage of our young generation, - says Aidas Liorančas, Coca‑Cola HBC Lithuania KA manager and mentor of Youth Empowered. – It was definitely valuable experience for me to find out how open minded our youth is and I was glad to help them with my experience and advise.”
